I gotta say - I am just smitten with this family! Alix is an awesome fashion blogger, and I had worked with her before on a style shoot. We had such a blast, so I was very excited when she said she wanted to do a family session for her parent's 45th wedding anniversary!
Her brother Adam and his wife Ashley were up from California so it was perfect timing - what a truly beautiful couple. And their super styling and sassy grandma was in on the shoot as well. (I hope I'm as cool as she is when I'm 90-years-old!) She stole the show!
However, what stole my heart was the love between Rudy and Jenny - I mean seriously. These two love birds have been married for 45 years, and I couldn't get over the attention they gave each other and how open they were about their love...a photographer's dream!
To the Hernandez family: thank you for hanging out with me on a ssuuuuppeerr cold day in Seattle, and for allowing me to step in to your special family for a little while. It was an honor, and the love and laughter that you share is evident and so incredibly beautiful!
